Swiftbear, a tabby and white longhaired, female, Maine coon and Siamese mix, with brown and blue eyes, padded through the woods. She had a sweet herb smell which distinguished her being a medicine cat. Along with the Swiftclan scent of course. She had bundles of moss tucked underneath her chin. She had marrow and borage clamped togetherr in her mouth. She walked on further before stopping to drop her bundles and rest her neck. She sprawled out across a flat patch of grass the layed underneath a weaping willow tree and layed there in the nice sunlight. She was tired from her journey to the moonstone to consult Starclan about the new members of her clan. Swift twitched an ear as a squirrel chattered above her head. She sat up slowly before springing up and grabbing the squirrel before landing un-gracefully on her paws. Bear cracked its spine in the process and began feasting from it, thinking about her food less journey last night. Suddenly a twig cracked behind her, she bristled her fur and spun around to be face to face with another cat.
"Who are you?" She asked before realizing who it really was.

[Seeing as we had a bit of a dispute, let's start over =)]
Cloudspot laid down, his shoulder burned, but he chose to ignore it for the good of the clan. But maybe that sour spot was just a way of telling himself no. That's all there had been in his previous life. Scratches and burns were nothing where he came from, it was either death, or life. But now that he was a clan cat, tings were changing drastically. He still didn't trust any of the clanners including those in his own clan. But he was adjusting at least... He had made peace with his leader as well as the queen named Secretwish. but recently, they had been joined by another. A she-cat of course it had to be. Sometimes he felt like a needle in a haystack. But they had a medicine cat now. Joyous. His nose wrinkled as the heather dangling just above him swayed to tickle his seashell colored nose. He gave a violent sneeze, it's sweet fragrance washing his senses. His tail lashed, and he shook his head, his black and blue eye swaying in a blur. He was almost half blind, he had a cataract in his right eye. No one else knew besides him and possibly his god forsaken mother. With a simple mutter, he got up and walked to the towering willow. His navy eyes were dark against the light green shades. It was one of the few trees he knew of in the plains of Swiftclan. It seemed to whisper words of wisdom, his eyes closing. SNAP His eyes shot open and he looked down; just a twig. Who's there? He looked around, the silhouette of a cat making his ears lay back. No, Cloudspot! You a deputy, be a deputy. "Cloudspot." He barked out in a deep but lcear voice.

.(Sure Sorry for not rresponding earlier. So much homework for 1 week.) A clear voice rang out carrying the words 'Cloudspot'. Swiftbear racked her brain furiously trying to remember who this tom was. She shook her head clearing the tiny voices saying 'Run! Run! He's one of those cats!'. She stumbled backwards a few tail lengths and crouched down ready to spring and defend herself. "What do you want 'Cloudspot'? And why are you here?" She hissed, putting emphasis on Cloudspot. Her eyes narrowed and she smelled the scent of burnt hair filled her nose and she wrinkled it. She loosened herself up and took a deeper sniff. She caught a slight scent of infection somewhere. But where? 'He must be in pain. And maybe I don't care.... Well maybe I do...' She said in her head. "You must be one of those cats that go around murdering others." She acused frighteningly, her ears pinned back and her tail curved over her back.

(OGod, why? I mean, tell me about it, I've had so much! ) He cringed, "Sharp words." He muttered. He heard her accuse him of killing. Murderer? He tilted his head, confusion and maybe surprise flashing across his face. Cloudspot smirked then, he coukd play along. Taking on a deep, rumbling, thunderous voice, he bellowed to her his 'plans'. "A murderer? I'd say more or less I'm a cleaner. I cleanse the world of weaklings." He sat down neatly, masking his face witg malice that his rogue teacher had taught him to do many times over. Intimidating the enemy was the first way into an attacker's core. But this was just for show, not battle. "And as to why I am here? I'm sure you can answer that." He said giving her a sideways glance, blue eyes flashing as if they would strike out. Cloudspot licked his claws for good measure.

(Geography and Math. :/ my worst subjects with homework.)
Swiftbear slinked back and forth across the protection of the willow tree. Her pelt rippled of scared feelings of what she would do next. He spoke and she stopped momentarily before continuing again. She stopped suddenly, and leapt up onto the branch above the toms head.
"I came here to get far away from you. But you will not get better of me." She meowed practically wispering before leaping down, gathering her items, and jumping up to where a little cat sized hole was.
Swift poked her head in, dropped the bundles before dropping down a branch and began flinging herself from branch to branch. She finally landed clumsily on her unsteady paws before crouching down into her ready position in case he decided to make a quick attack.
"Go ahead. Try me. But you'll never catch me if I get into the tree. Onto a flat clearing, now that's a different story for my clumsy skills." She growled.

( Geo is easy for me, memorize a lot. But for me it's Algebra I. @n@, so hard, she gives HW to us every night! Language Arts is ok, but we have like 2 book reports in one week, I can't keep up.)
Cloudspot tried super hard to keep his poker face., but it was just too hard. He let out a snort, then a chuckle. He was soon buckling over with laughter. He spread his front legs to keep himself stable, otherwise, he'd be on the ground in a fit. He lashed his tail, keeling over with gigles and hisses of enjoyment. The whole display was what got him, this she-cat was a real joker, a real shenanigan from the start, a weak link. But of course, she was the medicine cat, Swiftbear as he recalled. "Y-You," His breathing was heavy as he stuttered through words, "Y-You really thought," He gave a wheeze, "That I was gonna." another fit of giggles. He stood up, tumbling over his paws as he struggled to regain his sophistication. "Woo! That was great." He said, shaking himself a good one.

(Sounds hard. :/ I have Pre-Algebra. It kinda stinks. Reading and L.A. are probably my best subjects right now. Next year in school. I have to write a paper on the Apocolypse. )
Swift took note of the toms strange behavior. It sounded like he needed a few herbs to clear those lungs of his. His burn would need a poulice as well. She cocked her head and sat up slowly before raising a paw to lick to pass time while the tom calmed down a bit.
"Cloudspot. I do not understand. You... You said.. but I don't understand!" She meowed, holding back tears from being laughed at.
Her pelt went red with embarassment before a few tears trickled down her face. He laughed at her! And she was trying to protect herself from this possible threat. Why was he laughing at her? Was she suddenly a laughing stock? She backed up to the very edges of the weaping willow branches and stayed far from the tom who couldn't control himself.

"Swiftbear, pay no mind to him." Battlestar stretched, giving off a big yawn before stalking out of the near by shrubbery. "He tends to play with your mentality if he can. He picked it up from his rouge life." She yawned again, her pelt was warm from her catnapping in the warm moorland sun. She sat down and rasped at her paw before bringing it over her ear and repeated this action multiple times. She was rather calm compared to her normal attitude, she was always like this right after she woke up though.

[Meh, I'm taking a high school class in middle school, so it makes it that much harder. LA is fine as well as reading, it's just that they overwhelm me. My band teacher is awesome though.)
He stopped, guilt hovering over him like a shameful veil, "Now, now Swift dear, no need to shed tears." He stepped closer. "I'm sorry I laughed. Let me start over, I'm Cloudspot, your deputy." He curled his white tail over her shoulders, feeling fatherly he whispered words of comfort, "You shouldn't judge someone by what they look like or how they act." He said, his fading blue eyes piercing, even in their failing times. The white tom stepped away, looking back up the wispy willow, "I'm no killer I assure you." He said with a tilt of his head. Ace had taught him that killing was shameful and looked down upon. Even the most hardened criminals were not punished by death. He looked up at his leader, rolling his eyes. "I did not, she was assuming." He said sitting down in lashing his tail like a kit told no.

The brown she-cat chuckled "Sure, whatever you say Spot" She enjoyed teasing him sometimes. Especially when he was like this "You may want you compose yourself Deputy, you're acting like a spoiled kit" She merrowed as she got up and padded lightly back to her nice, cool den back at camp. Even though she loved how the sun felt it was probably best she slept at camp and not out in the territory.

She looked over at the brown she cat with strange yellow and orange eyes, with scars on her face and shoulder. She trembled now at the sight of this new cat. She took a few steps back when the battle scared cat spoke to her. Well sort of. Cloudspot spoke to the new cat and he seemed rather calm. Soon after the cat walked back somewhere. She felt scared and well everything else with it.
"I still don't understand. You've been playing me the whole time? But that's... It doesn't matter. Come up into my tree. You need to be healed." She meowed scrambling up the tree motioning for him to follow her into her tree den.

"Don't think of it as playing, more like a joke. You did after all, bring it upon yourself. You accused me of murder." He said giving her piercing glance. "Or have you forgotten." He lashed his tail, watching as she changed the subject to healing. "Um, no. I'm fine." He said his pelt growing warm. Cloudspot, the fierce deputy, was not fond of being touched, nonetheless by a she-cat. The tom didn't trust them easily. He planted his paws, not going anywhere.

She rolled her eyes. Of course, the stubborn type. And this was supposed to help her how?
"Fine then. Ill bring my things down here. Don't go anywhere. If your burn isn't healed it will become infected and you will lose the use of your leg. My suggestion is to stay put." She meowed gruffly.
Without his response she bounded up farther into the tree and poked her head in to grab a bundle of cobwebs, a marigold, and a few aloe leaves. She wrapped them in a bundle of moss and bounded back down the tree. She landed on the ground and let Cloudspot see the herbs she would be using.
"This green leaf here is called Aloe. It will help with your burn. This other yellow flower is called Marigold, it will keep away infection. And the cobwebs will keep the poulice in place. Now will you let me heal you?" She meowed gently and soothingly.

Cloudspot was slightly unsettled, it wasn't that he had no reason to dislike others, it was just the way he was raised. He shook his head, glancing at his shoulder, "First of all, it's not a burn, it's just a cut, nothing too bad. So aloe wouldn't be so appropriate for a cut. I got in a scrabble with some rogues while trying to recruit members." He explained, trying hard to keep his cool. With a master poker face he stepped up, taking a step back.

"I'm your medicine cat. I know what you'll need. Come over here before I force you to do something you'll hate." She growled.
She grabbed a marigold and took a step forward. She thought about the cobwebs and swished them on the edge of her tail.
"You need this. Otherwise you'll lose the power of your leg with infection. Ill have that brown cat put you out if you don't. Let me heal you." She meowed.

He gave an amused twitch and a snort, "Sweetheart, you put me out, you have no deputy. Plus, back where I come from, We didn't have herbs. It was just dirt and air." Cloudspot comled through, turning his upper body to show his scratch. It was not like he was going to die. It ached, but it was nothing he couldn't comply with. The deputy, with a smug look, looked over, pulling his body away before being touched. "But first, I wanna here an apology. Murder is a serious case, accusing your colleague is not going to go unheard of." He said staying put.

"I mean like Temporarily. Not kill you, you mouse brain!" She meowed rolling her eyes.
She looked at the scratch he had and shrugged. If he didn't want to be healed he would be sorry when it got infected later. She walked back to her items wrapped them back up, climbed up into the tree, dropped her bundle, then bounded back down the tree to catch the last of the his sentance. Painful memories flashed back to her rogue life when cats came daily to try and kill her. She shuddered and began to tremble.
"First of all, You don't want that healed so you'll be sorry when its infected. And Second of all, You don't know what my past was like. You don't know how hard my life was. You don't understand. But I'm sorry. I'm frightened and just scared." She sobbed.
Swiftbear had tears running down her face as she leaped blindly from the ground to the branch closest to her 'den'. She sat closest to the trunk and sobbed. Tears running down her face in streams.
Suddenly CRACK and the branch broke out from under her paws. She desperitly reached for the trunk and clung on with a firm grip. Her paws slipped and she fell onto a branch and held on by her front paws as her back lengs dangled. The broken branch fell to the ground with a clatter and she cried out in alarm. She pulled herself up and jumped down from the tree. She was hypervenilating and she collapsed. Her face was still wet with tears and she was wimpering and tears still dripped off her face.

He was disappointed to say the least, yet satisfied by his results. He watched her throw a fit, throw a desperate comeback at him just as the evidence rolled from her eyes. Cloudspot gave an exasperated sigh, she was overreacting. Like a lot of cats he'd seen over the years. His mentor too, had a bad habit of taking things literally instead of their actual meaning. Cloudspot understood, he'd had a harsh life that went from fox dung, to mouse bile, then to feathers, then down to carrion. Right now, it was about in the range of tainted water, teasing you and beckonng you to drink, but as soon as you did, you were a dead man. The clans had taught him good morals, to help one another, even if it seemed they didn't need it. He watched her take off like lightning, flashing across the ssky with a burst, then vanishing just as quickly. The white deputy looked at his shoulder. It smelled alright, givig it a few licks and a cringe as small shots of pain passed through. With another quick and possibly reckless decision, he followed after her. It was instinct, after all, to follow a fellow someone in need. Cloudspot had been there before, and would no doubt, end up there again in a good bout of time. He took off at a quivk trot, the day was pretty to say the least. A cool breeze, warm sun, sweet scents and fragrances of heather and barley. Crack. His ears perked, it was a sound he was all too familiar with, the sound of an unstable branch. And no doubt his medicine cat was on it. In a dash, he ran over to her side, he was late, she had fallen. Her face was wet with more tears and he could see her tense body. Being a good cat, he sat next to her, looking over her with blue eyes. "Are you alright?" He asked with a sincere aand gnuine concern. Even if se did get on his nerves, she was a clan mate and an important one no doubt whatsoever.

She was dazed. And Confused to say the least. Swiftbear watched as a the white colored cat walk up to her. She trembled uncontrolably and spoke shakily.
"You... you.. a -" She whispered but was cut off by his worried or well... forced reply.
She stood up and her legs shook like crazy before starting to become more stable. She looked into his blue eyes before taking a few steps backward before having her back against the tree. She spoke shakily,
"I.. I'm.. fine... Jjjjjussst a little shaky. I'm surprised you came back. Nobody ever cares enough to come back." She meowed quietly seen as the tom was only a few tail lengths away, "I.. I.. Should probably go now. I've probably ticked you off enough for the first meeting. I can go back to the clan to my herb storage if you really want that healed. You probably don't though."
Swiftbear sat down still slightly quivering and shaky. When she looked back at the ground a dark crimson stain was there. She looked down at her belly and saw a shallow gash towards the back of her belly. She gasped and began licking it to try and stop the bleeding that was there. She pulled a small sharp twig from her belly wound and the blood flowed more heavily now. Not a steady thick stream but more like when you get a nose bleed. It wouldn't last long but it would be annoying as heck later.

Overreactions, seen it ten times over. He gave another sigh, he was getting tired, the sun was getting dreary as it slugged over the horizon. "You aree putting way too much into this sweetheart. Don't push yourself, I came because you need help. I really don't wanna have to take an injured healer back with me." Cloudspot lashed his tail. "Your not a rogue anymore Swiftbear, clanmates help one another. Understand it." He said turning towards the herb pile. He grabbed it up with his jaws and jerked his head fforward. They were leaving, he was tired of this. With Battlestar's sudden involvment he was even more irritated. He started walking away towards camp. "Come on, night's falling fast." He said carrying on. "You can heal me there as well as yourself."
