Secretwish sighed and padded slowly out of the SwiftClan Nursery. She looked around their slowly growing Camp and smiled. All we need is a Medicine Cat and some kits, maybe a few Warriors. She thought happily.
She sat down and picked up a single, calico paw. She gave it a quick, swift lick before setting it back down on the dusty ground again. She wanted to talk to somebody...... Anyone. She sighed again and swished her large, fluffy, calico tail back and forth. Suddenly, she jumped up. She thought she heard a twig snap..... "Hello?" She called out. "Who is it?" She asked.

As the newly appointed deputy, he had to put up with any junk he may received. Cats could be so rude sometimes. He cursed silently to himself as the memories of rouges laughing at his attempts to get warriors. Starclan? Cat's in the sky? you got cotton in your ears? One had lashed out at him even. And without any back up to even the score he had a forced paw and retreated. Dried blood dotted his pearly white coat. What was he to do? What was Battlestar going to do about it? He gave a deep reluctant sigh. It was mid leaf-fall and where were they? A leader, a deputy, and a queen. They were all going to die.... He glanced at the scrawny pile that was their food supplies. His blue eyes were darkened with doubt and concern, so clouded he barely noticed as he was about to trample over the queen's tail. He stopped, his eyes wide, not really believing. Yeah, there was a lot of disbelief lately. "I-I'm quite sorry Secretwish." He said looking at the calico she-cat with a sideways glance. He backed up a few tail-lengths and sat down. What was Swiftclan coming too?

Secretwish gave Cloudspot a warm smile. "It's fine Cloudspot." She told the tom. She knew that Cloudspot used to be a Rogue, she used to be one too. Though, she was a Kitty-pet before she became a Rogue. She didn't even bother trying to get any of the Rogue's or Kitty-pet's to join them. She knew they'd all say no. Although, her brother Stormflash who stayed a Kitty-pet became the HollyClan Deputy....... She remembered when they were little kits, they used to race each other from the steps to the fence and back again.
Secretwish snapped back into the present time and turned to Cloudspot. "Want to go hunting later?" She asked the tom. She knew the Fresh-kill pile needed a lot of work, and even though she was a Queen, she still knew how to hunt. She wrapped her calico tail around her calico paws and waited for him to answer her.

"S-Sure." what was wrong with him? where was the strong deputy he was to be? Being a stammering cat with feathers for brains was not who he was. He gave his head a violent shake. He looked at the queen. He did want to go hunting, but he had particular trust issues with quite a few cats. Maybe it was his heritage and genes, but he knew some of it had something to do with his mother. He resisted the urge to growl as her white face flashed across his mind. She can rot in the Dark Forest for all I care! His claws extended out but he was careful enough to conceal the beneath his tail. "Sure, let's head out." He said with a quick nod. Don't let your feelings judge others! Stay focused! Thoughts like that were always running through his head. He sometimes questioned his sanity.

Secretwish purred softly, "Alright." She meowed. She padded to the entrance of the SwiftClan Camp and turned to wait for Cloudspot. She hadn't gone hunting since she first arrived a few sunrises ago. She was happy Cloudspot had wanted to go with her, so she didn't have to go hunting alone. The border markers weren't that strong and she was afraid of accidently crossing the border. That is the last thing our Clan needs right now. She thought.

With another curt nod he followed her out of camp, the moors of Swiftclan were nice. A lot better than crowded streets and trash cans. He looked up, it was sunhigh and there was not a cloud in the sky to speak of. With a little shiver he jumped, sprinting off in the direction his instincts were pulling him in. He could smell moor birds on the moist air, pheasant, quail, maybe a robin. He stopped, glancing over his shoulder to see if he could still spot his companion. His body was tense. He felt the small flutter of birds. Crouching, he raised his tail, waving it and fanning it out to tell her to spread. He smelled pheasant, saw it too, it was pecking mercilessly at small shielded beetle, it's armor black against the bird's lightly speckled beak. He crouched lower, his tail dropping to make sure he was not visible. He jumped, the bird called out, just as he suspected. Cutting off it's dyin g breath, he look shouted out to Secretwish, "Catch the quails!" He called. As if on cue, two small chicks scuttled out of the brush, their eyes clouded with fear.

Battlestar sped up, her muscles rippled under her medium length coat as she projected herself into the air. With one swift snap she grabbed one of the quails, puncturing it's windpipe. She held it for a while as it suffocated slowly, when the last light of life left it's eyes she dropped it at her feet. Blood was smeared over the cream colored fur of her muzzle, she licked it off. The taste of blood always pleased her, as did the thrill of the hunt and battle. That's where her name came from after all, and it was a fitting one.
"Mornin' everyone" She called nonchalantly to her clanmates, her only clanmates but things would pick up soon. She was sure of it.

Secretwish nodded and was about to swipe at one of the quails when Battlestar showed up. She watched as her leader killed one of the two quails. Then she acted quickly and took the other one and killed it with a quick bite. She let go of the quail slowly and looked at her leader, "Hello Battlestar." She meowed with a nod of her calico head. "What were you doing out here?" She asked. Though, she probably knew the answer, probably hunting or marking their borders. Or maybe she was just on a walk.

"Bored mostly, so i decided to go patrol the boarders when i ran into you two. Not a bad load i'd say" Battlestar commented on the kill they had gathered. She looked towards the sky, it would be a full moon tonight "We best get all our hunting and patroling done then make our way to the clearing soon." I voiced my mental checklist with the two.
(you guys have no idea how many times ive almost typed Barrel instead of Battle when typing my name.)

Secretwish nodded her head and bent down to pick up the quail she had killed. She waited for Battlestar or Cloudspot to take the lead. I don't trust any of the other Clans. She thought. Any moment now they're going to march across our borders and steal our prey. Secretwish unsheathed her claws and dug them into the soft earth at the thought of it.
(Me too! And Cloudspot. I keep trying to type Cloudshot.)

Battlestar(NOT Barrelstar) pick up her kill and started back towards he camp, while she was out she had remarked the boarders several time out of boredom. Prancing around the spacious territory killed endless amounts of time.

His ears twitched, he wasn't really focused on the conversation at hand as muvh as the sky. He recognized small clouds covering the sun, a foreboding sign if he ever saw one.Cloud was no medicine cat, but the cool breeze that drifted set his nerves on edge. Once it seemed the two she-cats had settled, he picked up his pheasant and trotted into step at Battlestar's side. Things were bound to get worse before the got better. He batted his blue eyes, not saying anything rather than just watching and listening. "What do you think will happen at the gathering?" He asked after a moment of silence.

"Dunno, probably gathering stuff, the norm we show up we talk we leave" Battlestar answered simply. It was the same thing every time, it never changed it was always boring, unless there was a war previously or someone was starving or there had been a rogue attack. She was rather bored at these things, nothing fun ever happened. Just a bunch of cats complaining about there clans to one another.

Secretwish gave a slight shake of her head but didn't say anything. She continued to follow them, the quail still in her mouth. She looked down at her calico paws and wondered what she would have done if her owners had taken her claws out. Her old friend's owners did that...... It must have been very painful.

Cloudspot flicked his tail, "Yeah, sounds about right." He wasn't fond of gatherings because only a few people ever showed up. All the other deputies either had a branch up their butts or just had bees in their head. He let out an exasperated sigh and quickened his pace, and well, he didn't want to go back to camp just yet. His shoulder was stiff from the scratch from earlier. He stopped, slwoing down and nudging the two, "Can we just take a walk?" Cloudspot paused and put his pheasant down and waited for an answer.

Secretwish shook her head to clear it and looked at Cloudspot. She stopped also and put down her quail. "Um, sure." She turned to Battlestar, waiting for her leader to answer Cloudspot. She glanced down at their prey and wondered if they should take it home first. No. She looked back at her young leader.

"Why?" The earthy she-cat asked around the quail. Puzzlement in her eyes, they needed to get back soon, there was literally no one at the camp protecting it. Rogues could over take it at any given time, and honestly She didn't like it when her things were taken from her.

Cloudspot shrugged, "No reason." He said shaking his head. The camp was just, 'empty' for him. He didn't particularly like it either. Part of his rogue instincts still clung to him, even as he resisted them, they still managed to get him in tiny ways. He shrugged his head again and smiled sheepishly.

The she-cat sighed "Very well, just a quick walk. We have to get back to the camp soon" She stated changing course. "We might as well hunt a bit while were at it if the opportunity arises" She tacked on, her eyes looking forward. She would never admit it, but she was a little annoyed by this request.
