Lionstar was walking through the territory hunting. He soon herd pawsteps behind him. "Whos there?" he asked.

"Don't worry, Lionstar. It is just me." came an amused voice. Pinebreeze walked out from the bush and glanced at him with soft blue eyes. She then glanced at a tree and scrambled up, laying on the branch. Pinebreeze stared down at him.
"So, how's life going for ya?" she asked, her tail flicking off the branch.

"Well, I won't do it again." she meowed, a smirk crossing her face. "No, it isn't great. It's perfect, you silly head." she purred, leaping down from the branch.
"So, do you want to do something? Patrol, talk, whatever. Just a warning, hunting isn't my forte." Pinebreeze meowed, flicking her ears.

"Sounds fine with me." Pinebreeze whisked her tail across the ground. "There's a hollow spot in a tree nearby if you want to go there." she meowed.

Lionstar nodded and curled his tail. His first real friend in the clan! He had a thought. 'Maybe more. Plus she needs a mate to have kits.'

Pinebreeze turned and ran through the forest, a smile on her face. She looked back, purring. She stopped in front of the giant oak. "Hear, follow me!" She climbed to the first branch and disappeared into a hole.

"Well, all I need to make my new life complete is a mate and some kits to help the clan grow, but I don't know who will be mine. I am ready for my first litter to be born, but I have no kits to have." she said sadly.

He flattened his ears embarrassed. "Oh... I didn't mean friends..." when she didn't say anything he bolted off.

She flattened her ears, chasing after him. "Lionstar! Please come back!" she called, speeding after him. She soon was near his tail and tried to grab it. "Please don't run. I ... I hoped it was not as friends." she meowed, panting.

Pinebreeze sat up, nodding. "It would be weird if it happened as friends, Lionstar." she meowed, giving a smile. She rested her feathered tail on his shoulder.
