Spottedsoul now Spottedstar walked into camp with three mice. She was worried about the clan. There where not many kits, queens, warriors, and apprentice. Oakclan didn't even have a medicine cat yet. She hopped to have a word with Raccoonstrike later, but now she was thinking about the clan and that only. She wanted to talk to someone.

Raccoonstrike was newly made deputy. He was surprise he was picked. He saw Spottedstar walking to the freshkill-pile. "Hey had a good hunt?" he asked. Raccoonstrike use to like Spottedsoul but now she was leader and couldn't like anyone in that way. But still had a small crush on her. "I'll send out a patrol out in a minute." he said.

Spottedstar turned to face Raccoonstrike. "Hi and yes I did have an ok hunt." she said. "That would be great." she went on. The calico stopped and face him. "So have you have a good day so far?" she asked him.

A brown tabby she-cat slipped out of the den. Her long brown fur was starting to grow snow white with age. Goosewing was an elder, she have lived longer then both the tom and the she-cat. She had since the sight of the deputy becoming a leader, the leader before Spottedstar. Yes, she had seen places and face she would never forget. "Hello Spottedstar, Raccoonstrike." Her ancient voice was cource, but yer sweet.

Bramblefur padded after her. His Ginger fur..already grey and white with age. His bones were aching , and he knew it was Leaf-bare. Let's hoped he survived this one. He had been around when before any of these cats were born...well maybe not Goosewing. He saw his leader and he gave a respectful nod."Spottedstar, Racconstrike..",he croaked. He had a coughing fit and had to stop moving, and sit in the middle of camp.

Spottedstar nodded back to the other elder Bramblefur. "Are you ok bramble." she asked him. She remembered when she had arrived in Oakclan. She was a former kittypet. He two elders where senior warriors at the time. The where made Elders when she was in middle of her training. Most didn't trust her and left the clan when she was made leader.

Goosewing turned to her mate and curled her tail with his as he sat next to her. Her gaze had turned to her mate and a joyful elderly laugh came from her mouth, "Dear your fur looks like a mess." The she-cat gave his back a few licks, smoothing out the sticking hairs. Turning back to Spottedstar she smiled, "Dear you have grown to be a young beauty. A strong leader too. You have come a long way and we are very proud of you." |

He purred as his mate groomed his fur. As she spoke to Spottedstar, he nodded."Actually...Spottedstar we have always had faith in you. I actually think of you as another daughter...",he purred. His voice ancient with many untold stories and secrets.

"Don't worry your heart dear, we will have a big Clan once again. Those who remain have faith that you will lead us to glory. Just worry about guiding this Clan, work hard and they will return." Goosewing gave the she-cat a lick on the ear and smiled. "You should also talk to my sons, they are looking for she-cat's you know. Fishtail is a very serious tom, but he is such a sweet one. Dustclaw is very strong and is brave, good joke teller too." |

Bramblefur looked at his mate."Goosewing! Stop trying to make relationships!",he laughed.She was always trying to get she-cats to like their sons every where they went. He grunted and rolled his eyes.

Goosewing siad with a light cheerful voice. Then she turned towards her mate with a light glare, "I just want are kits to be happy and I want grandkits." |

She smiled as Bramblefur started to talk then Goosewing again."I'm leader I know all the warriors remember we where apprentice together. They where older then me but still i know them. I have nothing against kits but I can't break the warrior code." Spottedsaid looking at her.

Bramblefur looked at the calico she-cat. "Don't listen to Goosewing...she's old and doesn't no what she is saying..",he laughed. Then decided to scoot over a bit.
